Rethinking The Fashion Footprint

Through thoughtful design and lasting quality, we step away from throwaway clothing and toward a future of enduring style.

BUILD YOUR SUSTAINABLE CLOSET!

Have you ever thought about the role your clothes play in the environment?

Today, nearly 85% of textiles end up in landfills

  • 92 million tons of clothing discarded each year

  • That’s 7 to 10 times of wear before a garment falls apart.

At Foxlilie, we believe fashion can do better.

We help you build an easy, lasting wardrobe that feels stylish, comfortable, and guilt-free, while keeping clothing in closets and out of landfills.

THE STORY BEHIND THE BRAND >

Made with love in Colorado

I’ve always been passionate about protecting our environment. For a long time, I thought I was doing enough—recycling and making the choices that felt accessible at the time. What I didn’t question was my clothing: the materials, how it was made, or where it would end up. Learning the true impact of the fashion industry changed everything—and became the starting point for Foxlilie.

Clothing used to last. Today, much of it is designed for the moment, not for real life—quick to wear out, easy to discard, and disconnected from how we actually live. That disconnect inspired me to rethink fashion.

Foxlilie was born from a simple idea: stylishly sustainable clothing for everyday life. In the midst of our busy lives, clothing should be meaningful, comfortable, and made to last. Inspired by the mountains and a way of life that values quality over excess, I design clothing to live in—fashion that feels as good as it looks.

At the heart of everything we do is slow fashion for women and kids. Unlike fast fashion, built on mass production, fleeting trends, and excess waste, slow fashion prioritizes thoughtful design, small-batch production, local craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Our mission is to change how people experience their wardrobes—moving away from a disposable mindset and toward an earth-conscious approach that feels easy, stylish, and guilt-free. Every Foxlilie garment is handcrafted locally, designed to be timeless, and made to be cherished—beautiful for you, and better for the planet.

Threads of Responsibility

Redefining how clothes are made with meaningful steps that honor people, product + the planet—creating style with an outsized, earth-conscious impact.

PEOPLE

At Foxlilie, our small batch team behind the clothes are at the heart of everything we do. We partner with local, women-run, and family-owned operations in Colorado and nearby towns, keeping our production close to home. By working with skilled seamstresses, we reduce our carbon footprint, support cottage industries, and help strengthen the economy within our community.

PRODUCT

We only purchase organic and sustainable materials made from select fibers that are easily renewable and require less water, prioritizing textiles that naturally offer durability, comfort, and longevity. These thoughtful fabric choices form the foundation of Foxlilie’s style—ensuring that our clothing feels good, is beautifully made and reflects the intention at the heart of slow fashion.

PLANET

We design sustainable fashion that is made for a smaller footprint and designed with an earth-friendly purpose to keep clothing in our closets and out of landfills. Our timelessly season-less styles are built to last and be loved for years. Our commitment to quality over quantity means our clothing is crafted to outlast and outwear fast fashion trends to slow the cycle of waste across the planet.

MADE CLOSE TO HOME, POWERED BY COMMUNITY >

Local Makers,
Lasting Impact

By partnering with local seamstresses, we reduce our carbon footprint, support cottage industries, and strengthen the communities we call home.

Foxlilie works hand in hand with local, women-run and family-owned operations, collaborating with skilled seamstresses to refine techniques and ensure our clothing is thoughtfully crafted and built to last. By keeping production local, we keep our footprint small while supporting our local economy.

MATERIALS THAT MATTER >

Sustainability begins at the source.

We choose fabrics with care—prioritizing renewable fibers, ethical practices, and long-lasting quality—so every Foxlilie garment supports both people and planet.

The Story Behind Our Fabrics

At Foxlilie, sustainability starts with what our clothing is made from. We source organic and renewable textiles designed to last, working with suppliers who value transparency, ethical practices, and responsible production.

For more than a decade, we’ve partnered with trusted suppliers who share our commitment to quality and accountability. Our long-standing relationships with Kendor Textiles and Gordon Fabrics in Canada, along with our recent collaboration with Tuscarora Mills in Pennsylvania, allow us to thoughtfully source fabrics from both global and local partners.

Based in Vancouver and family-founded in 1953, Kendor Textiles is a leader in environmentally and socially responsible fabrics. Partnering with mills worldwide that meet strict standards like OEKO-TEX®, they offer a wide range of sustainable fibers, including TENCEL™, organic cotton, recycled fibers, linen, hemp, and merino wool. With a commitment to innovation, Kendor makes sustainable sourcing accessible and efficient for small-batch makers like us.

Kendor Textiles

Founded in 1959, Gordon Fabrics is a Canadian, family-owned company rooted in integrity, inclusivity, and sustainability. Women-led and racially diverse, they specialize in sustainable textiles like organic cotton, Better Cotton Initiative fabrics, linen, and OEKO-TEX® certified materials. Their Gordon Green initiative promotes lower-impact fabrics, long-term supplier partnerships, and community support—from Doctors Without Borders to Ocean Wise—reflecting their commitment to people and planet.

Gordon Fabrics

A newer partner for Foxlilie, Tuscarora Mills in Pennsylvania is one of the few remaining mills weaving fabric in the U.S. Using responsibly sourced natural fibers—often on vintage looms—they are renewing the American textile supply chain while reducing reliance on oil-based fibers. Their work supports regional economies, preserves artisan skills, and promotes regenerative, biodegradable fabrics, charting a new course for sustainable textile manufacturing close to home.

FASHION BUILT FOR A GREENER FUTURE >

Intentional Fashion, Lasting Change

We design with a smaller footprint, creating high-quality fashion built to last—worn season after season, loved for years, and passed down for generations.

Small-Batch, Thoughtfully Made
Unlike fast fashion’s mass production model, we create small-batch clothing designed for longevity—not overproduction. Each garment is intentionally designed for longevity, ensuring it has a lasting place in your wardrobe.

Quality Over Quantity
At Foxlilie, we design clothing that’s built to endure through seasons of wear, not just weeks. By prioritizing quality, we help slow the cycle of waste by building fashion meant to be worn, loved, lived in–for you and the planet.

Closing the Loop: Fashion for Change

From the hidden costs of fast fashion—polluted waters, exploited workers, and disposable trends—to the promise of slow fashion that values quality, ethics, and longevity, we believe change starts with mindful choices that protect people and the planet.
