Made Locally, Crafted with Care
A photo shoot in process with our Summer collection
Redefining how clothes are made starts with slowing down and being intentional. Every Foxlilie piece is created with deep respect for the people who make it, the materials we choose, and the impact each decision has on the planet. From responsible sourcing to small-batch production, our process is guided by care—not speed.
Producing locally allows us to stay closely connected to every step of making a garment. By working hand-in-hand with our makers, we’re able to maintain high standards of quality, reduce unnecessary waste, and create clothing designed to last. The result is thoughtful, well-made pieces that support real lives and real values—clothing that feels good to wear and even better to stand behind.
One of the most meaningful advantages of producing locally is the ability to get fit right. When clothing is made for the mass market, patterns are often built around an “average” body—scaled up or down without considering how real women move, sit, bend, or live in their clothes. The result? Garments that technically fit some, but don’t feel good on most.

By working one-on-one with local seamstresses, we’re able to test, adjust, and refine our patterns with intention. We think deeply about comfort, movement, and proportion—especially in foundational pieces like pants. Fit isn’t an afterthought here; it’s built into the design process from the very beginning. Our goal is simple: clothing that works with women’s bodies, not against them, and feels good long after the first wear.
Behind the scenes with our local team.
When I first conceived of building a clothing brand, I knew it had to be made close to home and powered by my local community. Producing locally allows us to support our economy, reduce our carbon footprint, and work closely with a trusted team of seamstresses to create the best version of every design. Each piece is built to endure—meant to be lived in for years, beyond seasons, and far beyond the current average lifespan of a garment.
Believe it or not, many garments today only survive seven to ten wears before falling apart—designed, intentionally or not, for the landfill almost from the start. Fast fashion has created a culture of disposability, where clothing is treated as temporary.
At Foxlilie, we’re doing the opposite. We create versatile pieces designed to last—styles that move with your life instead of ending up as waste. When clothing is made to be worn often, loved deeply, and kept, it becomes part of your story, not part of the problem.
By partnering with local, women-run and family-owned operations, we’re able to keep our footprint small while strengthening the communities we call home. Our mission is simple: to help you experience your wardrobe differently. By choosing quality over quantity and intention over excess, we believe fashion can be both beautiful and responsible—and that caring for the planet can feel natural, effortless, and genuinely good.
